Twenty Years Representing the Mills

Renovazio was founded in 2005 to solve a specific problem: American brands wanted access to Italian and European mills, and most of those mills had no presence in the United States at all. Twenty years later, that is still the whole of the business. We are not a mill and we do not sell fabric off a shelf. We are the American showroom, sales office and production partner for a portfolio of mills across Italy and Europe, carrying both fabric collections and a full range of accessories and trims.

The work runs in one direction that never really stops. A design team brings us a brief, we develop or source the fabric that answers it, and we stay with the order through sampling and into bulk production, the same team on both ends of the call. That is the difference between an agency and a broker: we are still there after the swatch is approved.

Two showrooms carry the full collections on the rail, one in the New York Garment District and one in downtown Los Angeles, both open to design teams by appointment. We also run our own textile event in Los Angeles each year, putting mills and buyers in the same room instead of leaving the introduction to a trade show calendar we do not control. See what that work covers or visit either showroom.

How We Work

Development, Sampling, Production

01

Development

We take the brief back to the mill and work the hand, weight and finish of the cloth until it does what the collection actually needs it to do.

02

Sampling

Nothing goes to bulk production unapproved. Samples come back through our showrooms and against the original brief before an order is committed to.

03

Production Follow-Through

We stay on the order from that first commitment through to delivery, the same team a design room spoke to when the brief was written.

Talk to the Team

Both showrooms are open Monday to Friday, nine to five, and both hold the full collections on the rail.
