Italian and European Mill Representation

Renovazio is the American arm of the mills it carries, working out of the Garment District and downtown Los Angeles since 2005 with access to cloth from classic constructions through to contemporary and technical materials.

An American desk for a European portfolio

A mill in Italy or elsewhere in Europe is, structurally, very far from a design room in New York or Los Angeles. Renovazio exists to close that distance. Rather than a design team routing a request through a distributor or a broker, it goes to the desk that acts as the mill's own American presence, with the same standing to speak on price, minimums and lead time that the mill itself would have. That standing is what representation means here. It is not a catalogue relationship, it is the agency being the part of the mill that happens to sit in the United States.

Range across the whole portfolio, not one lane of it

The portfolio runs from classic designs to contemporary ones, and from luxury fabrics to more innovative and technical materials, which means a single design room can move between very different kinds of cloth without changing who they are talking to. Consultancy runs in both directions. Suppliers get a read on what the American market is actually asking for, and customers get a partner who already knows the mills' capabilities well enough to steer a brief toward the right one before a single sample is cut.

Renovazio has represented mills to brands including Ralph Lauren, Elie Tahari, Calvin Klein, Theory, Bebe and Brooks Brothers for twenty years. Call (212) 764-2890.

Two showrooms, two coasts

The New York showroom sits at 275 West 39th Street on the twelfth floor, in the Garment District, open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is where most of the mill portfolio is held for a design team to see and handle in person, because a swatch photograph and a length of cloth on a table are never quite the same decision.

The Los Angeles showroom sits at 600 South Spring Street, Suite 1211, on the same Monday through Friday hours, and runs Renovazio's own trade event connecting Italian and European mills directly with West Coast buyers, on top of its regular showroom work.

What representation makes possible

Standing as the mills' own American desk is what makes fabric development and forecasting work move at a design room's pace rather than a distributor's.
