What We Do
Six Ways We Get a Fabric to a Brand
Most people hear the word fabric and picture a shop with bolts of cloth on a wall. Renovazio is not that. We are an agency: the American showroom, sales office and production partner for a portfolio of Italian and European mills, standing between the mill that weaves the cloth and the brand that needs it.
A design team never buys fabric from us the way a customer buys yardage off a shelf. They come to us with a brief, a swatch, a silhouette that needs a certain drape, and the six services below are how that brief becomes a finished collection. Read more about the agency on our twenty-year story, or go straight to book a showroom visit.

Fabric Sourcing
We take a design room's brief and turn it into finished yardage, identifying the Italian and European mills whose fabrics answer it, managing sampling against that brief, and following every order through to bulk production.
Mill Representation
We act as the American arm of the Italian and European mills we carry, so a mill with no staff on this side of the Atlantic still has a showroom, a sales team and a direct line to every brand that needs its cloth.
Trend Forecasting
Before a collection is even sketched we are reading where colour, hand and weight are moving across the season, so the fabric a design room chooses from us reflects where the market is heading, not where it already was.
Knitwear and Woven Design
Our design team develops knitwear and woven fabric constructions from the yarn up, working gauge, hand and finish until a cloth does something a design room could not simply pull from a mill's standing range.
Garment Manufacturing
Once a fabric is chosen we can carry the program through to finished garments, guaranteeing meticulous attention to detail and superior craftsmanship at every stage from the first cut to the last seam.
Market Research and Events
We research the market on a brand's behalf and organize our own textile events, including a fabric show we run in downtown Los Angeles each year, so buyers see the collections firsthand rather than through a lookbook.
See the Collections in Person
Both showrooms hold the full fabric, accessories and trims collections on the rail, open Monday to Friday by appointment. There is no substitute for seeing the cloth.
